Anti-Social Behaviour

Anti-social behaviour is an issue that the Association takes very seriously. The Association believes that all residents should be given the opportunity to live peacefully in their home and neighbourhood.
 
Someone is behaving in an antisocial manner if:
• They are acting in a manner that is causing, or is likely to cause, alarm or distress, or
• They are doing several things over a period of time that cause, or are likely to cause, alarm or distress to at least one person living in another household.
 
The Association has policy and procedures in place to tackle anti-social behaviour. The Association also works in partnership with Police Scotland and Glasgow City Council's Community Relations Unit (CRU) to tackle anti-social behaviour.
 
Anti-social behaviour caused by tenants

All tenants have a tenancy agreement which sets out the behaviour that we expect from tenants. It also advises tenants that we will take action on anti-social behaviour and that their tenancy could be put at risk.
 
Anti-social behaviour caused by owners and private tenants

Owners and private tenants have responsibility to act in a reasonable manner too. Any property that is owned and causing nuisance through anti-social behaviour can be directly referred to Glasgow City Council's Community Relations (CRU).
 
If you wish to make a complaint against a household who is acting in an anti-social manner please contact Housing Services on 0141 950 9052. Incidents should be reported to Police Scotland by telephone 101.
