Happy to Translate (HTT)

The Association is a member of Happy to Translate (HTT) which delivers the following benefits to the Association, staff and customers:

  • Supports compliance with equality legislation by helping the Association provide equal access to information and services.
  • Assist the Association to overcome language barriers and engage with hard to reach communities which can incresae our customer base.
  • Give people with little or no English confidence to approach the Association knowing that their language needs will be met.
  • Equip staff with skills and confidence to assist customers from different cultures and backgrounds, improving customer service.
  • Provide interpretation and translation services from leading language service providers.
  • The Association receives support and good practice guidance from HTT staff and an opportunity for shared learning among the HTT member network.
